Before 2017 could even get a head start, there was an announcement made in January Jay-Z’s music streaming service, Tidal and American cell phone carrier, Sprint, have joined forces together. What they were planning together was unclear.
It seems towards the end of June, we’ll find out. Last week, a 30 second clip was popped up on Tidal featuring Moonlight actor, Mahershala Ali and Danny Glover.
The new entire new album is rumored to be produced by No I.D.
As of Monday, reports are claiming Jay will be releasing a new album on June 30th that will be exclusively available to Tidal and Sprint users.
